The science is very clear: global warming does exist and time is running out before irreversible damage is done. Some suggestions to promote cleaning living/reduce carbon emissions.
Continue incentives to promote residential applications of wind and solar technology.
Tax breaks to hybrid buyers and drivers.
Increased rail transport of goods, while decreasing over-land transportation by large trucks.
Tax drivers of large trucks who do not have commercial or farm related need for such a vehicle.
Utilize large truck transport for local deliveries only.
Develop urban farm co-ops to increase green space and facilitate healthier diets/lifestyles.
Increase incentives for large scale solar on private property to increase "clean energy" supply.

A NO vote for global warming bill it will be raising the electric bills $50.00 more a month i dont know about you but i cant afford another $50.00. Sure we are now hearing a few reasons for Global warming but I do not here the main reason for it. There are hundreds of reasons. many do have some effects on the earth but the ones they tell us are not the real reasons why. Why is there nobody jumping into this. If are water and air are no good we will not be able to live we will not need to work because we won't be here. we all know are time is closing to over world pollution. If I hear the president and his cronies cry about Global Warming one more time I think I will explode. I have done allot of research on this subject and I'm finding that the majority of the experts disagree. It seems like every other speech is about how Global Warming is going to destroy us. I have news for you all, the Universe is allot smarter then any expert and if we can't make it here on this planet our Source will find a way to move us somewhere that we can survive. I believe that global warming is being caused by the approximately 125 space shuttle launches, and by the constant air traffic of commercial planes. I went to the NASA website and have run across some interesting facts. The engines of the shuttle put out 37 million horsepower in the 6 minutes that it takes to get the shuttle into orbit, all the time, with the engine temperatures reaching around 6,000 degrees F. Also, each time that the shuttle launches, the 2 solid rocket boosters contain a total weight of propellant of 11.7 tons. I did not find out what the temperature of the solid rocket boosters was, but I would have to imagine that it would be near the output of the shuttle engines. We should give more support to developing countries on fighting Global warming and be more ambitious on cutting off emissions. It is not only for the future of the earth, but also for the future of our economy. We should regard Copenhagen summit as a big advertisement of American green industry and show the world how much we care about the environment and other countries. But what are we doing now? We are saying we cannot do more because it would be too costly for American business.
